All percentages of distance traveled are approximate and are not binding, as they are affected by the environment (city/traffic/track). And only after a longer run of about 100 km / miles will you be able to see what percentage has actually been accounted for.

Mode 1

1. pre-2019 car and no update or live cockpit: Speed indication works and mileage counting is stopped. 1. Car: Speed = original, Mileage Count is approximately 0-1%. Only works with pre-2019 models, no upgrade or live cockpit.

2. car from 2019 or with update and live cockpit: Counts after about 3 km of mileage. Counts 100% !!! 2. Vehicle: To change the mode, turn off the vehicle. The speedometer should be off/black. (Open the door) select the appropriate Mode for your vehicle. Indicator: Turn indicator x1 blinks only inside the car.

Mode 2
No speed and mileage counting is stopped for all vehicles

Speed = 3 mph, mileage count is approximately 0-1%. Works on absolutely all vehicles. Indicator: Turn signal indicator x2 only flashes inside the vehicle.

Mode 3
Speed indication works and mileage count is reduced to 30%.

Interval counting: stop 50 seconds, count 20 seconds, repeat. 30% is a guideline value. The count is determined by driving conditions. Works regardless of software updates for all vehicles through 2023. Indicator: Turn signal light x3 only flashes inside the vehicle.

Mode 4

The speed indication works and the mileage counter is reduced to 40%.

Module deactivated, speedometer and odometer work as normal. Indicator: Turn indicator x4 flashes only inside the car

Mode 5

Kilometers are counted at 100%.

Module is deactivated, speedometer and odometer work as normal.
The BMW 3er G20/G21/G80/G81 Kilometer Stopper tool always saves the last settings applied. This way, you don't have to change the settings before you start the car next time.

The device can be activated or deactivated both while driving (only for some vehicles) and when stationary.

Counts ~30% of mileage, speed indicator light works

Indicator: Turn signal light x2 flashes inside the car only

Mode 3

Kilometers are counted at 100%, but average consumption has stopped and is not increasing, speed indicator is working

Mode 4

The kilometers are counted 100%.
