WHAT MAKES CAN EMULATOR FOR GEARBOX A MUST-HAVE TOOL?
In case you adjust the mileage in the virtual cockpit in VW, the actual mileage data can still remain in the transmission. Diagnostic testers such as VCDS, Gutmann, Autel, Launch, and Odis can find it easily.
If you want to make sure that diagnostic testers display the same mileage as it is on the odometer you will need a can emulator. VW Can Emulator for Gearbox is an essential tool that makes sure that OBD scanners will display the same mileage as shown on the odometer.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
We offer two versions of Can Emulator for the Gearbox. One is a plug-and-play module and doesn’t require any technical skills to make it work. While another needs to be soldered. Our module makes sure that the mileage-related data doesn’t exceed the figures provided on the odometer. Using diagnostic testers to check the actual mileage of the car from ECUs is a common practice. Hence, if you want to make sure that mileage-related data is not contradictory in different ECUs, you will definitely need the Can Emulator for Gearbox on your VW.
When Can Emulator is installed on your VW, diagnostic testers become useless in determining any discrepancy in mileage-related data provided from different control units. Our module has been tested against all diagnostic testers including VCDS, Gutmann, Autel, Launch, Odis, and Snap On.
