ATTENTION! VERY IMPORTANT!
Two devices are always sold, one for the OBD2 connection and the second is the kilometerfilter.
The component behind the speedometer must remain permanently installed in the car. If the module is removed and the speedometer is then reconnected to the original connector, the speedometer synchronizes with the ABS, which restores the reset kilometers. It is advisable to solder the circuit board of the super kilometer filter into the wiring harness to the speedometer to prevent unintentional removal. Observe all relevant safety and legal regulations. And the vehicle manufacturer’s installation and warranty instructions must be observed.
Before installation, the battery should be disconnected and some preparation is required. Both devices must be installed in the OBD2 connection and behind the speedometer.
The plug-and-play version is only available for the kilometer blocker and is easy to install, but must remain permanently in the car. The module for the OBD2 port must be soldered there is no other option.
The installation is very complicated and requires experience with car electronics and special tools. Beginners could damage the car.
